Browns apple are classified as sharp with a very fruity aroma, high acidity and relatively low Tannins

These are grown in Fox agroforestry orchard and pressed immediately on site with our Amos belt press

Using a mulch beneath the trees and balanced nutrition, no chemical sprays have been used at all on the fruit this year.

Conveniently packaged in a new 25 ltr plastic Keg which is strong enough to use as a fermentation vessel in

combination with an airlock device.

Whilst reviewing our packaging, we realised that less plastic is used, per litre of juice, in the 25litre format than all others up to 220 litre drums!

Unfortunately extremely wet winter has meant that this variety is suffering an "off Year" meaning yields are significantly down. It is marginal as to whether it is worthwhile harvesting and this has been reflected in the price and availability.
