We aim to integrate a low chemical input mix of cover cropping and arable cereals and pulses as a vital element of our agroforestry.
Nutrition is at the centre of our soil and plant husbandry and we are confident that this is reflected in the integrity of our produce. We like to ferment and crimp our wheat, beans and peas as this further boosts nutrient values as enzymes are not shut down as they are in standard dormant dry commodity crops. These have a shorter growing season allowing us to viably sandwich cover crops into our crop rotation.
We must continue to explore new markets in order to maintain a financial return amidst massive upheaval in agriculture.
